Go behind the scenes of the historic Lincoln/Douglas debates.

This play from author Norman Corwin takes audiences behind the scenes of the 1858 debates between incumbent Illinois Senator Stephen A. Douglas and a then-unknown lawyer named Abraham Lincoln. The Red Bank ReUnion Band will perform in the mezzanine pre-show beginning at 6:15 pm CT. Tickets available at the Lincoln Amphitheatre website. Ticket price includes play admission, parking, and Lincoln State Park gate fee. Seating is general admission/festival seating. Senior and veteran tickets available. Children ages 12 and under may attend free of charge (with ticket downloaded from the Amphitheatre website). Concessions and venue and artist merchandise will be available. VIP doors open at 5:00 pm CT; general admission doors at 5:30 pm CT.
