Feed My Starving Children Mobile Pack Event at Santa Claus Christian Church, Sept. 27, 2025

Come Join the Fun!

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian nonprofit that believes hope starts with food.  Over 6,000 children die each day from malnutrition.  FMSC produces meals that are developed by professionals to specifically address problems associated with malnutrition. Proper nutrition allows children to grow, thrive and reach their full potential.

FMSC meals are packed by volunteers, then sent to a network of partner organizations that work within communities to empower them to move from relief to development. Since its founding in 1987, FMSC has shipped over four billion meals to more than 100 countries. 99% of shipped meals reach children in need of food.

Santa Claus Christian Church, located at 351 N. Holiday Blvd., will host the 12th community-wide meal packing event (MobilePack) from Sept. 25 thru Sept. 27.  This event has packed over one million meals, which, in the past five years, have been shipped to El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Ukraine.

Registration is now open for this year’s MobilePack event. This year’s goal is to pack over 115,000 meals. This will take over 500 volunteers to staff six packing shifts – one on Thursday, three on Friday and two on Saturday. For details on times and dates, and to volunteer online, go to fmsc.org.

Over $30,000 is needed to purchase meal ingredients: $106 will feed one child a meal a day for a year; $424 will feed four children a meal a day for a year; $2,255 will purchase the ingredients for 7,776 meals (a full pallet), which will feed twenty plus children a meal a day for a year. Any donation, no matter the size, is welcomed. Over 90% of every dollar donated goes to meal production. Donations can be made online at fmsc.org.
