Mark your calendars for a home event on September 27, against the Indianapolis Blues and the Bluegrass Barons, of Lexington, Kentucky If you’re looking for community, tradition, and a good old-fashioned ball game, the Mariah Hill Yanks are swinging for the heart.
Introductions will begin at 10:00am central, f0llowed by St. Bernard’s school choir will sing the national anthem around 10:15. First pitch will be at 10:30 CST, with Bruce King throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.
The round robin tourney is three games. Each team plays each other, one time. First game is against the Indianapolis Blues; that game will be 7 innings or approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Second game will be against the Bluegrass Barons of Lexington, KY at approximately noon. The last game will be the Blues playing the Barons, at approximately 3:00. Hoping to have all games completed before 4:30. Beer garden and concessions will stay open accordingly.
