Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial will celebrate the 102nd Lincoln Day program on Sunday, February 8, 2026. The program celebrates Abraham Lincoln’s birthday and takes place in the Memorial Visitor Center with music, a special speaker, and other ceremonial activities.
Bruce Kolb, an Attorney for the State of Indiana, amateur historian, and collector of Lincolniana, will be the featured speaker. He was appointed by Governor Holcomb and again by Governor Braun to the Indiana Semiquincentennial Commission. Kolb is the current Commander of the Ben Harrison Camp #356 Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW) and the Past Commander of the Department of Indiana Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. He commands the 27th Indiana Sons of Veterans Reserve (SVR).
Kolb’s presentation will be about books that Lincoln read while in Indiana and how those books impacted and developed him as the person who eventually became one of the most significant leaders in the history of the U.S.
A pilgrimage to the gravesite of Nancy Hanks Lincoln for a wreath-laying ceremony will follow the presentation.
A reception will be held in the Nancy Hanks Lincoln Hall at the program’s conclusion.
